Tadoussac, a village of under 1,000 people, was first established in the seventeenth
century as a French trading post. Today it is the oldest inhabited European settlement
in Quebec and the only surviving French
settlement in the Americas. This fascinating historical past, combined with the
rugged beauty of the Saguenay
Fjord, continuously draws tourists to the Tadoussac region. Visitors can stay
