This 1,138 sq km (439 sq mi) park has been created to protect, preserve and promote the unique St. Lawrence estuary and Saguenay fjord ecosystems. Orientation centres educate visitors about the park’s ecology. Potential activities in the park include hiking, diving, sea kayaking and trips to the islands.
